What happens to the snow that gets plowed and shoveled and carted away after a big snowstorm? Up in Boston, anyway, there are designated lots for the snow, called, “snow farms.” They have to be governmentally approved, too, which I hope, at least, means that they meet some standards. There is an interesting story on Boston.com, the Boston Globe’s online site about the city considering court action against the owner of a lot who has been allowing the dumping of snow there, when it is not an official snow farm. Flipping through the most recent issue of the Columbia University alumni magazine, I noticed a brief article focusing on a former law professor of mine from Rutgers Law School–Newark, Norman Cantor. Professor Cantor’s seminar, Death and Dying, was a course that was justifiably well regarded by Rutgers students.

The recent shootings in Tucson, Arizona rocked the nation and the world. Since this tragedy, a nationwide gun debate has raged on between gun rights supporters and gun control supporters. Attorneys and co-hosts Bob Ambrogi and J. Craig Williams welcome David B.
